I think since it was a commercial flop compared to other Sims games, they never will. :( Which sucks because I loved it! If we'd been able to build buildings, it would have been basically perfect. I get why they limited the building, because of the whole Hero concept and they needed to have their buildings with their items, but I think they could blend the two concepts. Achievements in Sims 4 is almost there, really. They'd just have to tie them together with a larger "mission", the way that building the kingdom was with Sims Medieval. So if they added that layer to Achievements, and had more of them (like how many Quests there were), and that you could only do a limited number of Achievements to win the larger mission, it would be there.
