Installing Origin Client

Question

I purchased the Sims 2 on EA and it told me to make an Origin account, which I did. All signs pointed to downloading Origin being very easy. I clicked on "Download Origin" and it ran, and I have something in my computer's Downloads folder that says "OriginThinSetup". But it's not open-able. It's just sitting there and it won't pop up. I think it's my dad's weird laptop. But how can I actually get to the Client from this inanimate file in my computer?&nbsp;

Simple Fix : Rename file and add .exe after originthin If you notice there is a lot of numbers (1000111etc) delete and replace with .exe&nbsp;

The file is an .exe it may not have downloaded properly and may be corrupted. Try downloading it again, it should be 11,537 KB big. And when launching it right click and click 'Runs as administrator'

I follow this instruction, and get this message: &nbsp;"The extended attributes are inconsistent" &nbsp; help!&nbsp;
