Installing The Sims Windows 10
Please advise how I can reinstall my The Sims 2 on Windows 10.

I am trying to install my Sims 2 but it stops every time while installing at 57% and i have no idea how to fix this ☹️
This is what it says:
A problem occured when trying to transfer the file
'D:\Base/TSData\Res\UserDaa\Neighborhoods\N001\Lots\N001_Lot11.package'
Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?
I've clicked on the retry button multiple times and it will load for a bit but not go higher than 57% and then the same error will come up.
Can anyone help me?

I tried moving the files over in the instructions above but i get an error
@minaaa28 , copy and paste the files, don't move them. That should work better.
@GregEccleston11 , I have a feeling the game is trying to recognize the disk image instead of the actual disk. Try starting the game without the disk in the CD drive and see if the game will launch that way. If it does, then it's reading the disk image instead of the actual disk. If it doesn't start up, try deleting the disk image and see if it will recognize the actual disk this time.
Yes, sorry i meant to say copy and paste. I tried that then that error came up that i attached for my previous post
