Is there a way to get the Sims Medieval Pirates and Nobles expansion (EA app)

I use the EA app on PC and already have (and can play) the Sims Medieval base game. I bought the game a long time ago on Direct2Drive and then registered it into my Sims account or Origin account or whatever it was back at the time.

I want to get the expansion but I don't see any options to do so. In the EA app it simply says the Sims Medieval is already in my library ("Standard Edition owned") with no option to re-buy or upgrade it, and it doesn't have a separate listing to buy the expansion pack. Am I missing something?

    @Viuvi , you should be able to purchase the expansion pack. Check with EA Help Support as they may be able to assist you with purchasing the expansion.

    I contacted EA Help and wanted to update in case others in the same situation find this post. EA Help suggested I could purchase the Sims Medieval deluxe edition through the EA website rather than the EA app. That does appear that it would work--on the website it does show up, whereas on the app it doesn't. There is no option to just buy the expansion though.

    I guess I'll keep my eye out for a sale now.
