Yeah, we don't know the details but that doesn't sound good.
I'm not so sure that they would do a subscription model, but we will probably see a store with microtransactions. Maybe we will see "seasons" that other games have and that will be more substantial content like packs like we are used to?
I myself rarely buy microtransactions in games.
