Except that is not true.Due to the fact that confirm multiplayer mode is just regular multiplayer.That Single player and multiplayer mode will be the same game.Just that in multiplayer you can have your friends over.

Have they even said people can play with friends or invite their friends to play? Have they even explained how that works? I think you make a lot of assumptions of what Maxis' idea of multiplayer might be for this game. I don't recall them mentioning it would be a co-op sort of game. Maybe it's just a server world where your Sim goes to compete against other players to gain a goal, and or where you log in to build things with other players since they have been leaning more and more toward competitions and collaborations for the next generation.
