@suprrk , first of all have you recently run the Disk Utilites included with most any version of Windows? Those can help. Secondly, since you are running the game from Origin, it automatically had the SecuRom files removed as the game was running off of Origin and that was serving as the copyright protection. You do not need to remove any files with the game.
It sounds like your Virtual Memory is running out of space and you need to increase the size of it to the same size as your RAM. You can access this information from right clicking on your Start tab and then locating the Systems information in the menu that comes up. You should probably look up exact directions on how to do this via a Google search, but it appears that not only Sims 2 is affected by this, but many other games as well.
