Missing clothes and hairs - Sims 2 Ultimate Collection

When I start a new game in The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, some sims appear to have missing clothes and hair. The area is white with writing all over it, for instance a hair will have brown french br...

Now I've noticed that almost all of the female hairstyles (like 80%) are not showing properly. I think the  problem is getting worse. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
