@glitterglich Hmm, as far as I'm aware there should be options for aging, it sounds like the option to only have aging for the active household might be turned on.

Sims 2 doesn't have these options. Only the currently played household ages.

Only Sims 3 does.

Sims 4 also has options for aging but also no story progression.
