MySims Prospecting Issue

Nintendo Switch 11/28/2024 @ 3:30pm

Unable to prospect in the town square cave for video game and action figure essence; the circle indicator remains dark blue no matter where I walk. Others on reddit have had similar issues. Restarting game and Switch did not resolve the issue.
