  • This is over my head. :D But it seems Kubernetes can do a lot more than just cloud services. Way more. Sounds like something needed for large amounts of apps being downloaded, used, and monitored. Let alone microservices, whatever those may be. I wasn't familiar with this technology, but it seems a lot of companies use Kubernetes and Helm for online stuff. Like for servers and monitoring and fixing errors.

Like with a little research Spotify used Kubernetes to maintain or manage its music downloads. If anyone doesn't know like I didn't know this tech stuff can do an awful lot. Makes me think a lot of TS5 will be online. All the bells and whistles of maintaining apps, heading errors off at the pass, telemetry data collecting, CPU monitoring and more. No matter what they have said it seems TS5 is going to be online even if single player. Might be wrong but it was fun to learn something new today. :D
