New Sims 2 Double Deluxe Installation

I got a new case with the Sims 2 Double Deluxe, it comes with 2 disks one for normal Sims 2 and one for the Double Deluxe, the other side comes with 2 pamphlets on the back of one of them it has a code, that was "Invalid". I have seen on the website and multiple other sources that it's normal for the code to not work. I have seen so many explanations on how to get the Sims 2 installed but none of them work. I have tried putting both of the disks in the disk drive of my computer but nothing happens. I don't know how to download it! It is a desktop PC with windows 10, if this information is necessary.
