Old sims game on phone

Hey so a while back when the ipod touch was still a thing (idk if it still is now) I used to play a sims game on my dad's ipod touch. I remember it did have options to travel and do sight seeing and also go to school while traveling. I have tried both sims: freeplay and sims mobile but neither of them compare to what I enjoyed back then. I'm not sure if this is an actual game or if it is all in my head. I do know that sims 2 is on iOS but I dont have an iPhone anymore so I couldn't say if that was the same thing I played. If anybody knows what game this is please let my know. Thank you!
