Origin Shutting Down April 2025

I thought Origin closed at least 2 years ago, it stayed active longer until the EA App had an Apple version, which it does. The EA app is more stable, crashes less. But that doesn't mean there aren't serious issues, like if you play Sims longer than 4 hours, it goes offline and sometimes crashes the game. Seriously though, as buggy as the EA app is, it is like 80% more stable than Origin.
