Solved

please delete this

I HAD an issue that I needed help with, but I found the solution on my own. I can't find a way to delete this thread though, or else I would have. Sorry.

  • Well, I recently got the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, and while I had no trouble getting my old neighborhoods into the game, I discovered that for some reason every time I directed someone to use a telescope they'd get an error (hit break point primitive). The problem turned out to be a mod that I hadn't updated. I had the forethought to update all my big (multiple packages) mods, but I overlooked a single one that increases abduction odds, so because it was no longer compatible my sims couldn't use the telescope. Once I updated it, the problem was gone.

@MCurrentObsess actually, could you tell us what your issue was and what solved it? It'd be very helpful and informative with helping everyone else

    Thank you!
