@MissHerisson , I'm sorry, but unless you play on a Mac there are no digital versions of Sims 2 available for sale. The only way to be able to install and play Sims 2 is with an external CD disk drive and a CD/DVD version of the game and expansion/stuff packs. The disks are available for purchase on Amazon, E-Bay, game stores that sell used games, and thrift stores. Disk drives are not expensive these days. The Sims 2 giveaway ended October 2018 and EA has no plans to revive the program or to remaster Sims 2 for newer computers. 

If you are lucky enough to play on an Apple Computer, then Sims 2 Super Collection is available for purchase on the App Store for about $20 US. 

This probably was not what you were hoping to hear and I'm sorry for the bad news.
