Re: Re: The Sims 1 Complete Collection is on Origin or Steam? can't find it,
@sabybee1234 , to my knowledge The Sims (also called Sims 1) was never released digitally on Origin or the EA App or anywhere for that matter. The Sims was retired some time while Sims 2 was still in production and being actively updated by EA/Maxis.
If you are talking about Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, EA stopped giving out and/or selling digital copies of the game in 2018 and has not repeated the offer since. At this time, Sims 2 was also retired with no additional active updates. The only way to play either The Sims or Sims 2 is to purchase an external disk drive and find copies of either game either on Amazon, E-Bay, or at a local game or thrift store that sells used games. The only digital copy of Sims 2 still available is only for the Mac OS which is called Sims 2 Super Collection which is available in the App Store. Super Collection only contains the games that were ported to the Mac OS which is Base Game through Bon Voyage.
If you recently paid for a digital copy of the game, it was either a scam and more than likely a pirated copy of the game that we do not provide support for and you should contact the person or company whom you purchased the copy from to obtain your money back.
If you already have owned Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and are experiencing issues installing the game, please provide more details such as which version of Windows you are running, what type of Gen core your computer has, etc.
