Re: Sims 2 crashing as soon as I load a family

@angelicslayer , my first suggestion is to try this. Move your Sims 2 folder (found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2) to your Desktop. Start up the game as normal remembering that none of your saves will be there. Starting the game allows for a new Sims 2 folder to generate. Play for a little bit (about an hour) to see if the game still crashes. If everything works ok, then you can move the contents of your files on your Desktop into the new folders in Documents.

Please keep me updated.

I played sims 2 for a while and no crashing then left it for a while and decided to load it again the other day and play more. It started crashing again straight after I loaded my family. I never changed a thing ☹️

@angelicslayer very odd. Wonder if it's thinking the game is low on memory (RAM). Very odd. Try rebooting your computer and then starting up the game. Just a thought.
