Re: Sims 2 Families disappeared

@m4bba69le5yi , Ok, first try to simply move your Sims 2 folder (found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2) to your Desktop. Do not copy it, do not create a short cut, move it out. Don't worry the game will regenerate a new one. Restart your game, however, none of your saved games or custom content or mods will be present. This is to make sure the game works as normal. The Sims 2 folder that you moved contains your saved games, CC and any other mods you added to your game. 

Create a Sim or play for at least an hour to make sure your game is at least playing as normal. You can save or not that is your choice. Once you have confirmed your game is back to normal, you can slowly add back your CC/mods first and then your custom Neighborhood by moving the Custom Neighborhood folder from your Desktop to your new Sims 2 folder.
