@Mxng0q1 , ok sounds like you might need to do a Vanilla reset. It's not a problem since some times you have to do this to get the game to run and you can add everything back once it's done.

First of all, move your Sims 2 folder (found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2) to your Desktop. If you had any saved games or CC, they would be safe on your Desktop now. Next start up Sims 2 and allow a new folder to generate. You should now see the Basic Neighborhoods (the ones that come with the games and expansions). Pick one and start up a new game remembering of course that none of your saved games and mods/CC will be present. Play for about an hour or so to make sure things seem to working ok and then you can either simply quit or you can save. 

Please let me know if this initially works for you to get at least get the neighborhoods back.

    @Tremayne4260 I also forgot to mention my EA Games folder is missing despite the fact that I opened the game oops, my bad

    @Mxng0q1 Could it be located somewhere else? I've seen cases where the default Sims 2 user folder was located in OneDrive. Do you have that?

    @Mxng0q1 , check to see where your documents are saving. If they are saving to One Drive, you'll need to turn that off. You need to have the game saving directly to your hard drive.

    @Tremayne4260 sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've checked my OneDrive folder and found my old EA games folder with all my old CC and everything. I've installed it just in case and i've also unliked and deleted OneDrive. I booted up the game again but my EA Games folder hasnt appeared still.

    @Mxng0q1 , move the new folder (the one you moved from OneDrive) back out to your Desktop. The game is probably getting confused and trying to read the old one. We need for it to rebuild the Sims 2 folder so that we can then add back your saves and CC. And make sure the game is running.
