Hi everyone! Aspyr just released a patch today for Sim 2 Super Collection. Not sure if it addresses the M1 chip issue, but I did want to let you all know.

- @Tremayne4260 The patch works for me! The problem appears to be solved (fingers crossed!) I even put my graphics settings back on High and I was able to load a lot, play, save the game, and re-load the neighborhood. We might be in the clear! The update didn't automatically pop up in my App Store but I manually searched for the app and saw the Update available.

How did you get this patch?
I have any updates for Sims 2 beyond V1.2.5
Not that I know of. That is the latest version. In regards to getting the patch, you check the Apple App Store for updates and you should see the patch there ready for download
