Re: Transfer sims 2 new computer

@Mskeke916 , your saved games, mods and CC are stored in Documents > EA Games > Sims 2. The best thing to do is to rename and then copy the entire folder onto a USB thumb drive and then transfer the file to your Desktop of your new computer. Start up the game on your new computer and allow it run and generate a new Sims 2 folder. This will insure that the game knows where to find the games folders. You should probably play for a bit remembering that none of your saved games or CC will be present and it will allow you to test to make sure you have all the fixes in place. Quit out  of the game and then go to your Documents > EA Games > Sims 2 folder on your new computer. Open this file up and then open up your renamed Sims 2 folder that you copied from your old computer. Copy over the following folders (Downloads, LotCatalog, Neighborhoods, Teleport, Thumbnails). These should transfer your saved games, CC, mods, and saved custom housing.
