@SimmeringPassion , while this sounds like a good idea, EA has made the decision to not pursue at this time any kind of remake or remastering of older console or computer versions of the various Sim games that have been released over the years. The number one request has been updating Sims 2 to run on newer computers and operating systems. The bottom line is that it is EA/Maxis Studios decision to make. For now, they are focusing their resources on other projects.

Maybe in future then and thanks for the response back, what I would love to see is some of The Sims 2 characters make a return in sims 4 along with some of the town / area names from sims 2 too!
I have seen uploads along the years in the gallery of people making previous sims but it would be exciting if they were to come back as part of a game pack or a download feature, no pressure as I know they get enough of that already!
Basically I look forward to what the
future holds for the sims and the packs released in future!

@SimmeringPassion , I love to see recreations of houses and Sims from previous games too. I find myself using styles of houses from other games and totally enjoying redecorating them.

I to have found myself going back to as far as the bustin’ out ps2 game images of Mimi’s house to recreate it in sims 4 time to the best that I can the problem is finding the right objects to be there such as the egg chair!
I love Dudley's trailer too! To be fair when I think about it I love all of the houses and want to recreate them all!
Especially in Tinsel Bluffs the full screen tv that was there and that gorgeous view, oh man nostalgia!
