Interesting. I actually prefer the time passing globally, despite the fact I keep aging set to active household only. Once I've got the hang of things, my intention is to play each household for a "year" (all 4 seasons) moving on once NYE is over.
I agree about the swimming. I understand that Sulani and DU are the only swimming areas ?
