I like the art style and lightning of TS4 because it's muted, hope TS5 will be similar. TS3 had shiny textures and very bright lightning which made the game unplayable for me. Playing inside the houses during daytime was Ok, but at night it was too dark, even with lights on, and outside during daytime everything, even sims, just sort of glowed and reflected light everywhere like they were made of plastic.
