Science behind The Sims Build Music

For any musicians out there, you might find this interesting. It explains how the composers of the Sims Soundtrack made it sound so great but yet so simple and not redundant or intrusive to the experience

Very interesting. I have to play with sound almost turned off though as I cannot take too much of it playing my games.
  • If there's one thing the Sims is consistent at, it's the soundtrack and how good it always is. I've gotten a Sims 4 mod that enables every single CAS/Build/Menu music in the game and I'm very pleased at the huge variety of tunes, from Sims Hot Date's Jazz to Sims 3 light-hearted orchestral bops, to Sims 4 Snowy Escape CAS music.
  • Gosh, I took two years of piano, but never took Music Theory. This leaves my head spinning, but it works! Gee, if Paul McCartney one of the Greatest musicians/music writers of all time learns how to read music, he can't write it. LOL

Thanks for sharing this. Fascinating. Truly.
  • I find the soundtrack really annoying, I mute straight away going into CAS or build buy. That endless happy happy is just too much

@Onverser The soundtrack in the Sims 4 or the Sims 1?
