Which makes sense by the letters, but without more hints doesn't make sense on its own.
Dogs pee on things to mark their territory. If we're getting werewolves, it could mean that they can have their own territories, and ways to mark them.
I mean that as two parts of the same hint, there's something missing:

Moonwood Mill is a territory marking log?
But they could be two completely separate hints about the pack, true.
