i love this thread!! i love crafty stuff. I'm a cross-stitcher. My mom taught me when i was a kid, i dropped it for a long time as i grew up, but i've picked it up again about 3 years ago or so. I'm pretty slow, sometimes i go a while without picking up my projects, mostly because i use my free time to do some simming instead, lol! anyway, I really enjoy it. My mom has more of an obsession with it than i do. She's got a whole room in her house dedicated to her stitching and other arts and crafts she does (quilting, scrapbooking, sewing, jewlery, etc)
I've only done a couple pieces, and i have a handful that are a WIP. But here are some of them
This is the first big piece i did. She's called Titania. I absolutely love her.

This is a finished piece, she hasn't been framed yet. It can be pretty expensive to frame these, especially since i'll get it custom framed. She is called Waiting for Ships

This is my most recent piece. Called Crystal Symphony. She's going to be kind of big, and i haven't spent much time on her. The fabric is closer in color to the first picture. All this cross-stitchy posting has got me itching to work on her though. So i think i might pick her up later today and give her some love =)

This is a project I did for my best friends birthday. It's a cross stitch design in the middle, and i quilted the border. one of the first things I quilted too!

I did this one for my husband. He isn't a fan of the girly stuff, and he asked that i'd do something for him. I'm currently working on a Super Metroid piece for him now too.
