Sims 1 Legacy Edition Won't Launch
Has anyone else had this problem? I saw we can play the first sims game, I downloaded it and now the game won't launch. Any ideas how to fix or know what causes it?

simcloudxo Please try reinstalling your 2015 and newer VC++ runtimes. Open Windows Settings > Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and uninstall everything from 2015 and newer. Don't touch the older versions.
Download the x86 and x64 versions (not the ARM version) of the 2022 runtimes from Microsoft:

Install the runtimes, restart your computer, and try to play.
