@MandyJ1993 , as long as you still have the disks and valid codes for the Expansions and Stuff Packs, you can install the game. The game no longer requires that you register it to play so you should be able to install and play. The game will require the disks to play and an external disk drive if your computer does not have one.
Please remember that any codes you do have will not register the game on Origin as there is no digital version available on Origin for purchase or for free at this time. The digital giveaway for Sims 2 Ultimate Collection ended October 2018 and EA has no plans to revive it.

I have the codes but when I got to download them it gives me an error that the codes are invalid but they were from over a decade ago and they worked when I was growing up but now as an adult its not working. Do you know if codes expire or become unusable because I really really want to play the game because I miss the families from the sims 2.

@MandyJ1993 , to my knowledge they do not expire. I know that to install the game on Windows 10 requires some extra work arounds due to the age of the game.
