Sims 2 and Sims 1 - I Have the CDs and keys, is it still possible to play them ?

Hi there!

So I own a copy of the sims 2 and sims (with a couple expansions), but I do not have a CD Drive on my PC. I read that it used to be possible to contact EA support and they could add the games to a library by changing the CD Key to a digital code. I have been searching on this website but I can't find where to contact them, at all.

Is it still possible to play the games via the library or do I have to find and install a CD Drive?
