Hello ! I am trying to download the sims 2 castaway stories on my mac and ive downloaded the link and im following but now when I select the Autorun.exe I get the message "Error extracting 'Autorun.exe' Invalid format" is there a specific application I should be opening this with...? I am so lost on how to download this.
@juliadobrosimmer , did you purchase this game from the Apple App Store or from Origin? If you had purchased the game on the App Store prior to October 2019 and then upgraded to Catalina, the game will not run because it is a 32bit game. If you purchased it from Origin, it will only run on Windows OS and in order to install and play you will need to be running Windows as a Bootcamped Mac or via a virtual machine using a program like Parallels and Windows. If you do not have a copy of Windows to run on your Mac, you should see about getting a refund from EA as the game will not install and run.
