Hi, thank you for replying so quickly.
I know that there is issues with the compatibility, however some people are managing to run their games through windows 8, therefore there must be a solution to this problem, other than "it's just not compatible". Is it possible it's something to do with Directx 11 or my graphics card?. This is really irritating because i brought two expansion packs last night, and now i can't play them :/
I have tried running it as administrator and also in windows xp service pack 3 compatibility mode, yet it still crashes on C-A-S.
