    Hi @RayaAlysRose7,

    Windows 10 is not compatible with SecuROM based games like The Sims 2, and so the game has issues detecting the DVD on the drive even if it's there. If you contact an EA Advisor via help.ea.com, they might be able to add The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to your Origin account, which does not need CD/DVD to play it and it's compatible with Windows 10. They may ask your for your The Sims 2 Deluxe serial code.

its 2020 ive tried that and they say the game is too old and they dont have the digital version ☹️((

    @lince918 , that is correct. EA made the decision to "sunset" Sims 2 from Origin October 2018. If you actually have the disks, there are ways to install it on Windows 10. Since this is an old thread, please start a new one and detail exactly what you have or have not done to get the game to install and run.
