@Georgiapeach8 I don't play on Mac, but I believe it has a certain file limit. A birth of a Sim creates a new character file, twins means there were two created. Is it possible that your game reached that limit, especially with all Sims added with subhoods and stealth hoods (Pets, Weather)?
- @mate54 Sorry for the late reply, as I just saw this. I don't believe so. I was only five rotations into rotational gameplay and only had Strangetown, a University, and the Vacation hoods in the save
