Sims 2 expansion pack broke?

I had bought 10 different Sims 2 expansion packs and I had tried to download like three different ones and every time I got passed the downloading phase-in up to the checking for updates phase it could not finish it and then it wanted to terminate the installation of the expansion pack if someone knows how to fix this or thing I can download that will automatically fix it please let me know

    @kimelog4321 , you need to do a search on how to install Sims 2 and its expansion packs on Windows 10. Since this is an older game, you need to bypass part of the installation process. Sorry I can't give a specific link, but EA does not approve of linking to third party sites.
