Do you have keep your old Sims 2 files when you had install the Ultimate Collection ? Try to repair the game via Origin : right click on the game in your origin library and select Repair the game. Origin will download every files missing in your installation 😉

That seemed to help but now the audio just stops at random points in the game,and it has problems loading and crashing sometimes. I did a compatibility run now it has windows xp compatibility. is there anyway to stop the audio mute and crashes?
