Sims 2 legacy glitches

Heyo, 

I have been playing all day and the game was running mostly fine until now.

Now:

• Whenever I age a Sim, the game freezes, and I have to move the family in and out of their house to resume playing with them (again) (it seemed fixed with the last patch update, but it returned?) 
• Whenever I try to put two sims in bed together, or in a hottub or even in the fotobooth together, they get in, and then they get teleported out? So no more woohoo for my sims I guess.
