I have The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection on Windows 10. All works perfect, except for a few objects in the Buy/Build Mode that are blank when I try and put them in a house. All types of objects, even wall designs; they don't show up. I can see the green grids around them, they cost money and also some of the objects have a white colour and writing on it, but once I buy them, nothing is seen. Is there any way to fix this?
@jeremygauhtier , try this. Locate your Sims 2 folder (found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2) and move the folder to your Desktop. Do not copy and paste or create a shortcut. Actually move the file to your Desktop and do NOT delete it. This is where your Saved games and CC/Mods are.
Next start up the game and allow a new Sims 2 folder to generate. Start up a game remembering that none of your saved games will be present. Play for about an hour or so and see if the content you were missing shows up. If it does, you probably have some CC or a Mod that conflicts with those objects and is "hiding" them.
Let me know if this works for you and I can give you advise on what to do next.
