    @mysimsreality If I remember correctly, there is a sign you can put up to keep strays off your lot. (I might be thinking of Sims 1 too). It was under decorations.

I believe the sign is indeed from The Sims: Unleashed. Have you tried redoing the fences around the house?
If that fails, TwoJeffs' Visitor Controller mod might help you, Google should make it easy to find (of course, if you're not opposed to using mods in your game).

Mate54, I ended up redoing the fences after all. Thanks for the mod suggestion. I have not used mods since I stopped playing that game in 2007, but I will certainly keep your suggestion in mind. Thanks for the response! 🙂
