@roonilxwaslib , other thing to try (for others who may have the same issue) is to clear your local thumb cache out of the EA App or Origin to ensure a clean install of the games.

I installed the EA App on her laptop, and The Sims 2 showed up there! But when I logged back into my laptop, it wasn't there...
I tried clearing the cache, but it was useless. I have been looking for how to do it manually, but no luck so far...
By any chance, do you know how to clear the EA App cache manually?
