Sims 2 Ultimate Collection game won't save

Sims 2 is not saving for me either. 

I load up, save my data, and then when I try to play at a later time it doesn't have any of my saved data.....

I have this problem too...

Game is loading and playing fine for me, but it doesn't seem to 'save' any saved data/lots correctly.

At first I could create a new sims and moving the sims into a new house just fine. After that I saved it and I could just go out to a neighbourhood with no problem. The problem starts when I want to acces the sims/lots that I have saved, the game always crashes every time.

What's the point of playing if I cannot access the saved data? I don't understand how to fix this ☹️

I also have the same problem. I've been working on this problem for about a month now, and have gone through so many tutorials trying to figure out what the problem is. I haven't come to a conclusion yet. At first, I thought it was just my old saved games, cc, etc. But when I played a house that was shipped with the game, the same thing happened. I played the family for about 6 sim days.During that time, two children were born. I saved, exited the game, and immediately went back in. The children were gone, but everything else appeared to be okay. With newly created sims and homes, however, it won't save anything. Both the home and sim are gone. When I placed a sim from CAS into a home that I took from the bin, the sim was gone and the home was empty and up for sale.  I've run out of ideas on how to fix this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I fixed my problem with game not creating save file by uninstall Ms one drive app. One drive tried to synch data and didn't allowed any modifications in folder
