sims 2 ultimate collection incompatible with windows 8

try this

Find the Sims 2 UC Icon on your desktop
Right click on it and choose properties
Choose the tab compatility
Click on the little tick in compatibilty mode and choose Windows XP (SP3) from the dropdown box.

I don't have the compatibility tab PLUS I tryed running it in compatibility mode with windows 7 and the service packs. I have tryed EVERYTHING.

  did you click on the properties tab on the shortcut icon for the sims 2 properties then clcik on the compability tab click apply click ok

    I don't have a compatibility tab. O have troubleshoot compatibility and it still doesn't work
