Sims 2 Ultimate Collection only loads mansion expansion pack

Does anyone else have this issue? the game loads fine but will only let me access the mansion expansion pack. Is this normal? Am i missing something? i have tried uninstalling and re downloading with...

The content loads, i have neighborhoods i can visit and sims there i can control, pets, not that ive noticed. The issue here may be y ignorance. I have only played the original sims before and was expeecting something similar (i.e. create a sim and play them through their life) Is the gameplay here just different? thanks again.

Had the same problem. Iwent in under documents and took out the tm trademark symbol (someone has detailed explanation on here) fixed it, now I have families disappearing...🙂
