Sims 2 ultimate collection: product key not working?

Hey I downloaded SIMS 2 ultimate collection with the I-LOVE-THE-SIMS. Great that worked! I installed the game, great that worked! when i start to click on play. it asked for a product key, which...

    It should work for everyone again now. If you still have issues with the code, please get in contact with an EA Game Advisor.

Just adding my two cents...I have this same problem and I really pray that it gets fixed. I was so happy to see that I could now play Sims 2, but I cannot, through no fault of my own. I'm not mad, I just hope it gets fixed soon, pretty please.
