Sims 2 'Unable to open language file lang.ini'

Hi,

So I downloaded a copy of Sims 2 Ultimate Edition today but I've been unable to load it. I've downloaded and installed the game, I've switched the faulty Paul.dll file for the new one, and the game starts to load only to come up with the following error message:

Internal Error Message: Unable to open LanguageFile "Lang.ini"

And then it crashes. This isn't the Paul.dll issue, but something else, and I'm not sure how to solve it. Can anyone suggest anything that might fix it?
