@kcassendo , part of the problem is you are missing what is called "The Color Enabler" mod from ModThe Sims. You will need to get version 9 which is the latest one for recolors of CC to show up in your game.
Read the instructions on the website about where to install this mod, do so and then start up your game. Your CC should show up as normal once this is installed. Please let me know if this worked.
Hi @Tremayne4260 !! Thank you for your reply. I will try that today, but if I understand correctly from your reply, you think that I'm not able to see my cc at all? Just to clarify, do you think it's a recent custom download that made a bug in my game? Because I've had cc in my game for years with no problem....and right now I actually can see all the custom content. Objects disappearing is a mix of cc and base game.
Or you meant the mod missing is what makes the objects disappear everytime I load the lot?
Just making sure my issue is clear

@kcassendo , from what I could understand from the images you posted, it looked like you were missing that mod. And because you were missing those files, that was what was causing those objects to disappear.
Please let me know if this works. If not, I've got a couple of ideas to try as well.

@kcassendo , yes, your saved games are safe. They are in your Sims 2 folder (Found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2). Ok, try this next and don't worry about your saved games for the moment. 🙂
Once you have located the Sims 2 folder, move it to your Desktop. Do not copy and paste it or create a shortcut, actually move it. You can rename if you wish, but that will insure that your saved games are safe.
Next, start up the game as normal remembering for the moment that none of your saved games or CC will appear in the game. Moving that folder resets the game to a vanilla state and is very useful when things like this occur. Starting up the game will allow the game to regenerate a new Sims 2 folder. Once the game has started up, select a neighborhood and play for about an hour to make sure that everything is running smoothly. You can then exit the game as everything should be back to normal at the moment.
Do this one step for me and let me know if everything is back to normal. Then we'll work on the next step.
