Sims 5 Rene: Pure Sandbox or Reactive and Dynamic Environment?

A lot of things that people seem to remember with sims, and associate with sims are things that happened in the game to them in a reactive environment.

When I first started playing the sims4 the things that made me play a lot was creating scenarios, putting sims together in different situations and see what happened and see if there was different outcomes.

Unfortunately, since The Sims 4 is more of a sandbox, the outcomes were not that much different.
