I'm with those who say they want to see traits, likes, dislikes help define Sims actions when not actively playing them. Now I don't see any hope with Sims 4 traits seeing as they just are not that deep or impact the game at all which is why Sims 5 needs go deep into them and add meaningful behaviors and animations to each trait.
Say for example the Party Animal trait "These Sims tend to enjoy parties and letting every other Sim know by hyping up a crowd and performing party tricks." In Sims 4 they are not going to do either of these things unless I do it myself and they should. Also what do these party animals do outside of parties should the carefree party animal act like it outside parties with some type of behaviors and simply just have parties come up more often in conversation.
Sims behaviors are another reason why an attraction system + turn on turn off system should be base game and not an expansion feature or something patched in years later. Let the player decide is their Sim strong on commitment or a cheater looking for love or love to be single once the player sets these things the Sims can play out.
