Sims Legacy Collection won’t open

As the title says the Sims Legacy Collection just refuses to open, I press play and it looks like it’s loading and preparing to launch the game but then just reopens the ea app. My computer meets all of the requirements and why trying to find the vulkaninfo.exe application that they need for the supposed solution, I can’t find it. It says there is no application like that on my computer in the System32 folder. I really don’t want to have to refund the game and was looking so forward to playing it after so many years.
